How the Disciplines Connect
Mortgage banking taught Joseph how to run a business where compliance, capital, and people must all be managed at once. Aviation applied that discipline to physical assets, where a missed inspection or a thin maintenance reserve has consequences that no spreadsheet can hide. Real estate followed because aviation businesses need somewhere to live, and airport property turned out to be a compelling asset class in its own right.
Technology runs underneath all of it. Joseph studied computer science and finance, and he still builds the CRM, automation, and AI-assisted workflows his companies use. The result is a small-company operating model that behaves like a much larger one.
