Corporate strategy, P&L accountability, governance, recruiting, operations, and the organizational planning required to lead a regulated business through changing markets.
Joseph's executive experience was formed in the mortgage industry, where the chief executive is accountable not only for growth but for compliance, capital, and conduct across every branch and loan officer. From 2019 to 2025 he served as Chief Executive Officer of American Mortgage Network, a national mortgage banking company, with responsibility for operations, governance, regulatory compliance, financial oversight, management, and recruiting.
Before and alongside that role, he founded and developed mortgage brokerage operations, built and led sales organizations, and recruited and trained the loan officers and managers those businesses depended on. Today he applies the same discipline as President of a cooperative flying club and principal of a group of aviation service, real estate, and consumer businesses.
Setting direction, allocating capital, and sequencing growth across business units.
Full ownership of revenue, margin, and cash in regulated and asset-heavy businesses.
Board reporting, policy, controls, and the oversight structures a lender requires.
Building compliance into operations rather than bolting it on afterward.
Hiring well, training deliberately, and developing managers into leaders.
Process design, systems, and the operating cadence that keeps a company predictable.
Evaluating, negotiating, and integrating businesses and assets.
Designing structures that scale, including succession and cross-training.
The principles below are proposed site messaging that reflect how Joseph runs his companies.
Ownership of outcomes, not just activities. In regulated businesses the standard is set by the people at the top.
Recruiting well, training deliberately, and giving capable people real authority.
Cash, compliance, and maintenance are managed with the same rigor whether the asset is a loan portfolio or an airplane.
Markets, rates, and regulations change. Durable businesses are built to absorb change rather than resist it.
Technology is a lever for small, well-run companies to compete with much larger ones.
Build for the decade, not the quarter. Reputation compounds slowly and is lost quickly.
